Two Candidates from two secondary schools in Aldai constituency in Nandi county are sitting their KCSE exams in two different hospitals where they were rushed this morning after experiencing labor pains.
Confirming the reports, Nandi South Administration Police Boss Meshack Wanga said the two candidates from Ibanja secondary school in Kaptumo zone and Chepkuny secondary school in Kemeloi zone Nandi south were this morning taken to Kaptumo Sub-district Hospital and Kapsabet Referral Hospital respectively for delivery.
Wanga said that one of the candidates, from Ibanja school, gave birth through a normal procedure while the other candidate from Chepkuny, who is admitted at Kapsabet Referral Hospital gave birth through C-Section.
There is tight security for the two as they do their exam, as per the rules and regulations put forth by the Ministry of Education.
So far the KCSE exams are going on well in Nandi, and no hitches have been experienced.
