Bungoma Senator and National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal Moses Wetangula has said that if NASA forms the next government, their administration will be all-inclusive and will not incline towards tribalism, “We know that NASA’s government will have the Turkana, Pokomo, and everyone and every Kenyan citizen will be represented. Everyone in this country counts and matters,” said Wetangula. He said this during the NASA meeting held at Uhuru Park, Nairobi.
He said that NASA will have an uphill task of restoring good relations with neighbouring countries if they take over power, “Somalia are complaining about our relations, we don’t have good relations with Tanzania, same with South Sudan.” Wetangula refuted claims that the country’s economy is steadily growing, adding that the Jubilee government doesn’t have good planning, citing that even though Central Kenya already have a stable road network, they’ve received a higher funds allocation for road development instead of a region like the former Western Province which has dire roads. “Am not saying that Central isn’t in Kenya, but what we want to push is equality,” said Wetangula, “The lowly should also be uplifted to a certain level, and the privileged should be stabilised so that there is equality and further development.”
He said that aspirants who are in the opposition party and have lost in the party primaries should remain in the party so that they can contribute to the country’s facelift.
