Jubilee Presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta is still ahead of National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate Raila Odinga in the latest opinion poll released by Infotrak. President Kenyatta’s approval rating stands at 48% while Raila Odinga’s is 43%. The candidate who comes in third place is Abduba Dida, with 5%.
The survey was conducted from a sample of 2,000 Kenyans between June 24th and 25th all over the country. President Uhuru Kenyatta leads in North Eastern, Eastern, Central and Rift Valley regions, while Raila Odinga leads in Western, Coast, Nyanza, and Nairobi.
However, 50% of Kenyans feel the country is headed in the wrong direction, with the high cost of living, and corruption among the main issues affecting them. 45% of Kenyans, on the other hand, feel the country is heading in the right direction, with 4% still undecided.
