KCPE top candidate Goldalyn Kakuya has been feted by the Albinism Society of Kenya (ASK) after her top performance in the KCPE exams. He revealed that the ASK had awarded a cheque to Goldalyn, worth Kshs 100,000, as a congratulatory gesture, “We have also approached the Mpesa Academy to ensure Goldalyn ca be taken on scholarship to that school,” he said.
During the same press conference, Goldalyn lauded the efforts by ASK to address the issues of albinism, “These glasses am wearing them courtesy of ASK,” she said, “Thank you for fighting for our rights and representing us in Kenya.” She said the efforts to reach people with albinism will continue, adding that it’s not only a chance to celebrate her but people with albinism all over the country.
