Busia ODM youths have agreed to unite and forge a common front ahead of the August 8th, 2017General elections.
During a meeting in Busia chaired by the new County youth league chairman Engineer James Anyango and attended by chairmen from Teso North, Teso South, Nambale, Matayos, Butula, Funyula and Bunyala, they agreed not to allow their members to be used by politicians to cause mayhem during the campaign period.
Anyango said they agreed to mobilize their members in this few remaining days to register as voters saying by registering en-mass, it would enable them to have a tyranny of numbers enough to propel the opposition to state house.
He said they also agreed to empower their fellow members in whatever sector they were discharging their duties to ensure so that they can fend for their families livelihoods without relying on handouts from politicians.
