Political leaders in Nandi eyeing various political posts have been reminded to conduct their campaigns peacefully.
Speaking during the aspiring leaders breakfast at Bishop Muge College in Kapsabet, the Bishop Anglican Church of Kenya Kapsabet diocese Paul Korir appealed to political leaders in the entire County of Nandi to uphold peace and tolerance in their campaigns.
Korir urged them to do mature politics without writing off their opponents putting in mind that there is life beyond elections.
He cited that political competitions is not enmity thus reminded those who will win in their elections to remember those who will loose by providing them with jobs.
Above all he asked them to uphold peace before,during and after the elections for the betterment and prosperity of the nation at large as peace is the key tool to development.
On the other hand Nandi county commissioner Lucy Mulili echoed the Bishop by requesting all the aspiring leaders to address themselves well without tarnishing their competitors names.
