Kenya national football team Harambee Stars are gearing up for the friendly against neighbors Uganda on Thursday at Kenyatta stadium in Machakos. The national team will also face off against DR Congo on Sunday.
The DR Congo players have already arrived, and the game will attract many fans who will be eager to note the progress of the Stars’ football pedigree. The Uganda Cranes, who were the only East African representative at the African Cup of Nations earlier this year, will face the Harambee Stars with a keen eye on their progress so far after the African Cup showpiece.
The team will look to put up a credible challenge and emerge victorious in both games, led by captain Victor Wanyama, and other star players, including former Gor Mahia star striker Micheal Olunga.
