AN administration police officer in Likuyani stunned members of the public when he went berserk vented his anger on his livestock.

The angered officer based at Busia and who is a resident of Sango village in Likuyani district allegedly used a machete and an axe to slice his two dairy animals, a sheep and a dog into pieces before he headed to his parents rural home in the neighboring Bungoma North district where he reportedly set on fire two houses.

Sources told west fm that property of unknown value was destroyed in the parents’ houses.

However, his anger turned a blessing to villagers who were looking from a distance and later thronged his home to grab a share of the rare delicacy.

The officer was later subdued and rushed to Kitale district hospital for a mental examination.
