A family from Kamusinga village, Kimilili District of Bungoma County is living under intense fear after a stranger dropped two domesticated pigeons with strange characters linked to demonic powers at their home.

The home of Mr. Francis Wesonga, his wife Judith together with their two children is now flocked with visitors from villages across the entire Kimilili district to see for themselves the strange behaviours of the two birds.

''My children saw an unknown woman drop a carton box bearing the pigeons at my gate then chanted some words before riding off at a high speed on a motorbike,'' said Wesonga.

He further noted that one of the pigeons- a male one - stunned them after laying an egg a thing he termed to be very weird.

The family who are staunch Catholics however declared their strong faith in God saying they had reported the matter to their spiritual leaders led by the parish priest of the Kimilili Catholic Church Peter Makokha.

They nevertheless have vowed not to harm the two birds as they have so far been providing them with food and water as they await further communication from spiritual leaders.

With the current state of inflation in the country one of their neighbours is said to have crept and stole the two pigeons ready to go slaughter them for a meal but unfortunately was caught before accomplishing his mission.

Area assistant chief Johnstone Kimasere called upon the residents and family members to remain calm as they further sought to find a solution to the issue.
