Residents of Osia Village Teso North District Tuesday morning were surprised to find the head of a dead cow buried in a retired assistant chief’s home.
It is alleged that unknown people with evil intention went and dug a hole near his kitchen before burying the carcass.
The family members were treated to the rare incident glancing at the two protruding horns of a cow, a factor that prompted them to unearth the soil and found out its head.
They raised an alarm that sent neighbors to the scene who were equally astonished and cursed the incident saying it was evil related.
Confirming the ordeal, area assistant chief David Emayot condemned the act saying it was evil for the suspects to do the abominable act calling upon the community to find possible and reasonable ways of solution issues and shun opting for superstition.
He appealed to them to shun old overtaken traditions that meant to harm and ruin the society, but instead to embrace fruitful activities that will bring harmony and peace in the society.
Elsewhere in the same village, police officers arrested four middle aged men on allegations of philandering with other people’s wives.
Among the four men is Yesse Okur who was caught in a compromising situation with James Ateker’s wife.
Speaking to West Fm, James disclosed that he was stunned to find his wife in their matrimonial bed with the accused Yesse Okur.
He said that the wife fled a way and is suspected to be in her home in Amogoro .The four young men are said to be luring people‘s wives after they dropped school. Switch to Our Mobile Site |
