Shinyalu Mp has promised to take care of the upkeep and education of the child whose father crudely murdered his mother and his two siblings in Matsulyo village of the Kakamega East District.

Speaking in the compound of the now at large Geoffrey Khamalishi when he visited the family to condole it in Shinyalu, Mugali said he will make sure the child is brought up well and that he was dedicated to do that fully.

“You will never know what plans God has to this little one, am sure our lord has great plans for him  and that is why he saved him and to ensure that, that is achieved we have to offer our helping hand, we will dress her, and make sure he achieves his dream in life,” said Mugali.

Mugali condemned the action saying it was indeed and it is a shame to the region which he represents in the parliament.

“I regret what happened a lot and it is a shame to this land, people out there are pointing fingers towards us referring to us as people who come from where human beings kill each other brutally considering what mukhobero did some years back,” he remarked.

He urged family members to come up a way of solving issues in the family wisely rather than going for each other’s life.

“Our people should learn how to solve issues, dialogue being one of them, we should not always think that murder is the only solution to our problems,” he said.

On Tuesday a father killed his family, wife and two children in cold blood and fled after the action leaving the three dead in his compound.

Recent allegations have it that after doing that he ran and drowned in a nearby river where it is said to have died though his body has not been retrieved or seen in the river.

Before getting to the river the man also attacked a nearby family cutting a neighbors’ wife twice on the head and once on the left hand.

He as well threatened to kill his own dad with a matchete he had used to finish his family for being confronted by the wife that he had not risen to the occasion to provide for the family.

The home is now deserted with a smell of human blood welcoming those entering the compound; dried spot of the blood still lies dry at the compound.

The young Butoyi Khamalishi now looks and lives in fear after witnessing what happened to his family at such a tender age.

He will live to tell a story in his life, a story big than himself. As we speak he will need to go though traditions he never understands what they mean, he will live to be an orphan at a very tender age.

As the Bible says I knew you before you were born in your mother’s womb, I have great plans for you, plans to prosper may be this message might just be the perfect one for the little one.

He will live a painful life without parents not because of his liking but the liking of his own blood father, it will be a day never to be forgotten in his life.
