Deputy Prime minister uhuru Kenyatta officially opening the TNA offices in Nairobi. He said he was free to compete with anyone during the party's nomination.
Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta has revealed that he is ready to compete with any candidate who is also eying the presidential ticket in the coming National Alliance party (TNA) nomination saying that he is willing to support any candidate who will be nominated by members of the party in case he is defeated in the presidential nominations.
“I am ready to support whoever will be nominated as the presidential candidate of the party, ” said Uhuru.
Speaking after officially opening the party’s headquarters in Nairobi, Uhuru congratulated TNA party for opening offices close to the common “mwanachi” saying that the party belongs to the people.
“TNA is a Party for all Kenyans. It is a party where the youth have been given a chance to vie for seats.”
Uhuru cautioned other politicians over abusive politics saying that he will not abuse any one and Kenyans should learn to buy policies of politicians and not there fairy tales.
The party also launched its second phase of a national membership recruitment drive that will be accompanied by the party's roll out to various counties across the country as part of popularizing the Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta.
Party chairman Johnson Sakaja told West Fm that branch elections are scheduled in two months time which will be free fair and transparent and that the party is committed to involve the youths in its policies at all levels.
