A 27-year old man in Ochude Village in Teso South has been reported having gone mad after he was hired with Sh. 3000 to unearth a dead body.

Its alleged that Ekesa Osore had been appointed to exhume the body of Silas Barasa Etyang’ who died three weeks ago after he was lynched by angry mob in Esirisia village in Busia for allegedly being in possession of a stolen cow in company of  his father   Martin Etyang who was also killed in the incident.

Neighbors who spoke to West FM, revealed that Osore turned wild immediately he returned home from Bukalama where he was paid after he had performed the duty of unearthing the body and dressed it up before burying it again during the 5pm incident two weeks ago.

On arrival to his home, he said to have come in conduct with a skull of a dead sheep where he took it out before throwing it and resumed his duties.

Residents of Ochude were shocked when Osore suddenly changed when he started laughing without control and currently he is residing in the bush and along the highways talking to himself.

The incident has left  villagers astonished and wonders what the intention of the deceased persons was targeting however, elders who were interviewed by West Fm over the matter allege thematter was evil related  and superstitious.
