Jackson Alusiola, 32, was Thursday morning found dead in a pool of blood in his house in Lusanjela village, Tuuti sub- location of Kibabii location.
According Laban Mwembe, a village elder in the region the deceased was suspected to have stolen a duck in the locality. It is reported that he was attacked in his house by two men who have since been positively identified after they were alerted by the deceased neighbor of the theft incident.

They raised an alarm calling other villagers who cornered him for an explanation attacking him with blunt objects that inflicted injuries on his head. They took him to the village elders’ house still attacking him where they found Laban’s wife. She intervened for the victim advising the villagers to take him to the police station.
“The deceased was attacked by villagers and brought to my compound, but my wife told them to stop and take him to police station if truly he is a thief,” said Laban Mwembe.
Confirming the incidence Bungoma deputy OCPD, Mutune Maweu refuted the claims that the victim was a suspected thief and termed the incident as murder. The two suspects have since been arrested and are helping the police in further investigations. The OCPD promised to take serious action to perpetrators of the murder once they are brought to book.
