You send him a text telling him how you miss him and your heart is bleeding to be with him, you get a reply a week later at 1. 00 AM in the morning with all signs of a booty call, he is not being sincere with you.

The only people he has introduced to you are his drinking buddies who most of the time are so drunk to even remember your name. The worst part is they also hit on you and keep on spanking your ass telling you that you are such a pretty young thing.

He takes you to weird motels and guest house to make out and at times you make out in the back seat of his car and still insist that just be patient as he gets rid of his wife. Unless you are stupid or mentally challenged this is recipe for disaster.

He is always on job and closing big deals that will make the two of you rich beyond your wildest dreams, but the funny thing is that he has never even send you airtime or even paid your rent. I know of a “clande” to a very rich CEO in this country who was admitted in hospital and the guy never even went to visit her or even send her flowers, when she got better and was back to her bubbly self this guy demanded stuff and guess what!!!!!She gave it up to him with open arms. HOW?????

You have never met his family, friends, workmates, you don’t know where he works, stay and you are not sure even if he is a Kenyan. Definitely you are nothing close to a clande.

The only time he calls you are ungodly hours when even the robbers of Bungoma are dead a sleep. The text goes like, “Hi sweetheart, I am dying to see your beautiful self, why don’t you pick a cab and come over.” Its bloody 2AM in the morning you have no car, he has a fleet of cars but he won’t even pick you up at the very least. Leave the bustard.

He is not ready for long term clande commitment, I mean if he is having mind boggling orgasms courtesy  of your prowess is bed, then he should offer some commitment to you and by this I mean financial, some emotional and time commitment. He should treat you with respect.

These are the signs that you are not his main Mpango wa Kando, side dish, plan b……. call it what you want.
