The Kenya under 20 national team will take a one week break before resuming training on Tuesday 7 August After their arrival in the country early Tuesday 31 July.
This occurs as the team prepares to welcome the Egyptians in a second round, second-leg match, of the African Youth Championships as confirmed by the Football Kenya Federation Chairman in charge of Youth football Hussein Terry.
The junior stars held their Egyptian counterparts to a barren draw, in their first leg match, played on Sunday 29 July.
Meanwhile the Football Kenya Federation National Executive Committee is set to hold a special sitting today to shortlist candidates from whom the new Harambee Stars Coach is going to be named.
The Senior National Team has been without a coach since late June when Francis Kimanzi was re-deployed to serve as FKF Technical Director.
