Drama unfolded Friday Evening in Uplands area of Malaba Town when irate public members caught a teacher making love with another man’s wife.

The suspect David Odeke a middle aged man, teacher in TotoKakile Primary School was found in action in a maize plantation with Francis Idewa’s wife who had deceived her husband that she was going to funeral service.

The anxious mob descended upon the two lover birds with kicks and blows before they managed to escape with serious injuries leaving behind some of their clothes.

Speaking to West Fm at the scene Francis Idewa the husband of the embattled wife revealed that he was resting when he heard residents shouting. He dished to the scene and was shocked to find residents hitting the two with clubs.

He said that his wife had told him was going to funeral in the neighbouring but sneaked and joined the teacher who was in a drinking spree in a neighbour’s homestead before the man lured her into a maize plantation where they were caught by fellow drinkers and residents.

They found standard six examination papers near the scene and pupils report books placed awkwardly.

Mr. Idewa said that the teacher had been deceiving women and revealed that the incident is the second one with his wife, that he caught his wife last year with the same man but forgave her.

The area chief  Wilbrondo Omusugu has condemned the incident calling upon the District Education Officer Mr. Maina Wangatho to chip in and take a  severe action against the teacher claiming that he has been using money influence to lure people’s wives to have sex with him.

The head teacher TotoKakile Primary School where the teacher works who visited the scene has condemned the incident calling upon teachers to excise integrity, be committed to their duties and learn to be morally upright because they are the molders of the society norms.
