Mbale municipal council councillors who defected to UDF party from ODM.

Councilors in Vihiga County at Mbale municipal council on Friday defected from ODM party to UDF party following the move of the Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi.

Led by Vihiga municipal council Mayor Eliot Kihusa said they have joined UDF party and offices have been opened within the county.

Kihusa said residents of the county have been yearning to register in the new party forcing them to open offices tentatively while they wait for the official opening by the Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi.

The mayor expressed disappointment on what conspired at the late father of Nairobi Mayor George Aladwa.

He said the DPM Mudavadi arrived and called for peace and respect before leaving to another burial in Bungoma to the visitor, but unfortunately the visitor embarrassed them by hiring goons and waging war against the locals.
