As he launched his manifesto, Kimilili parliamentary aspirant on Federal party ticket Richard Masinde Sibilibili said he will focus more on making sure the people of Kimilili are comfortable with the way the National Government Constituency Development Fund is utilized.
In his address to the people of Kimilili at Katiba grounds, Sibilibili said the current MP has not been able to utilize the fund well saying a half of it is usually returned to the treasury while the remaining half isn’t accounted for given that it’s not utilized on the intended projects.
He said as the patron of the kitty he will ensure every time it is disbursed a meeting involving stakeholders will be called to get views from different people concerning projects they want to be accomplished.
“The current NGCDF office is constituted of people who are related to the MP and therefore doesn’t represent well the general scope of Kimilili residents, therefore, a new crop of leaders is needed,” he said.
Given that the aspirant is targeting the seat for the third time, Sibilibili said he is now mature enough and will get overwhelming support from Kimilili residents, and he’ll deliver them from the current non-inclusive leadership.
Federal party of Kenya party leader Andrew Sichangi Kutitila asserted that his party is in support of the NASA coalition and will be supporting the flag bearer Raila Odinga to be the next president of the republic of Kenya.
He accused the Jubilee government of having exonerated poor leadership in their era saying especially the people of Western Kenya have not benefited much.
Kutitila further called upon police officers to investigate incidences where leaflets are allegedly being disbursed by some political aspirants, issuing threats.
