Outgoing Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has conceded defeat in the just concluded polls, saying doing so will help the County to steer ahead as it’s bigger than one person. Addressing the media in Webuye town, Lusaka thanked Bungoma residents for giving him an opportunity to be their first governor, saying he will always be indebted to them, “I want to accept defeat and wish my brother Wycliffe Wangamati well as he takes the mantle of leading this County picking from where we left. I also thank the people of Bungoma for electing me in 2013 overwhelmingly as their first governor and for giving me support to transform our County, you’ll always be in my heart,” said Lusaka.
