Kenya Premier League (KPL) leaders AFC Leopards suffered a heart-breaking 3 - 0 loss to Nairobi City Stars in a tough tie at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi on Saturday.

City Stars Ugandan import Dan Sserenkuma was in his sparkling form scoring in the 56th and 70th minute.

On both occasion, Leopards Keeper Patrick Matasi was to blame as he left the goal unattended.

Boniface Onyango scored in the 63rd minute after he was set through by Francis Thairu to shatter Leopards hopes of making a recovery.

This was Leopards second defeat of the season after suffering a 2-0 defeat in the hands of Tusker FC.

The loss comes at a time when the Leopards hierarchy is rocked by leadership tussles and it remains unclear if they will remain on top of the league.

Leopards will be playing Sony Sugar next weekend and will have to put in more efforts to secure their position.
