Mumias Traffic Police have planned to conduct vehicle crackdown next week few days after a young man was killed in a road accident at Eluche along the Mumias- Kakamega Road. The area traffic officer Mr Joseph Siso accompanied by the area O.C.P.D George Seda said that most Passenger Service Vehicles -PSV owners have tampered with their safety belts and speed governors a fact that has contributed to the increased accidents since many occur due to reckless driving and over speeding.
