Three suspected robbers were burnt to death Saturday night at Botwa village, Cherengany Constituency of Trans Nzoia County in a robbery attempt at Kaplamai and Botwa Shopping Centers.

Confirming the incident, OCS of Kachibora police station said that the robbers were armed with pangas and knifes and were trying to break into one of the shops when one of the residents raised alarm before they were cornered beaten before being burned.

This comes barely a week after a Seventh Day Adventist Pastor was killed by unknown robbers before escaping with Sh200, 000 and his Probox car which was later recovered abandoned in Mois Bridge.

One of the residents said that for the past two weeks they have been terrorized by the robbers making them live in fear.

They now want the government to deploy more security personnel in the area to stabilize security.
