Speaking to West FM from their hideout the victims who looked malnourished said their father Silvanus Mukhweso was violently beating them before committing the heinous act.

“He violently attacks us before forcing us into bed with him in turns”, explained the juveniles whose mother reportedly died several years back.

The two who are standard four and six pupils respectively at Marakusi Primary School said their 15 year old sister escaped with a well wisher to Kakamega following similar advances.

“After we could no longer take the abuses we escaped into the bush”, they narrated adding that they were rescued two days later by a well wisher Mrs. Berineter Mikalitsi after they could no longer persevere hunger pangs.

Mikalitsi revealed that the desperate girls appeared at her door last night at around 8pm pleading for food.

“I was moved by their plight and after giving them food allowed them to spend with me” she said adding that she reported the matter to the senior village elder Mr. Isaac Kilato who in turn arrested the suspect and handed him over to police at Mlimani Police Post.

However according to the disappointed Kilato despite his efforts of apprehending the culprit police later released the suspect without conducting conclusive investigations.
