The county government of Nandi has introduced an automated revenue collection management system in bide to improve revenue collection efficiency.
Nandi county governor Dr. Cleophas Lagat in an interview with a team from the Kampala Capital City Authority led by the CEO Jeniffer Musisi who paid him a courtesy visit in his office, said they copied the technology from Uganda.
He said that the technology is good and efficient and that his government through the ministry of ICT will this Friday 24th of June 2016 launch the programme that is dabbed ‘revenue and SMS system (E- Nandi)’.

He thanked the Uganda government through Kampala Capital City Authority for the collaboration saying the county government of Nandi will continue to strengthen ties together and be part of the transformation.
The CEO for Kampala capital City Authority Mrs. Jenniffer Semakula Musisi said the government of Uganda will continue collaborating with the county government of Nandi as the two governments have now strengthened ties.
He thanked the governor for giving them a warm reception adding together with her team, they will continue to be available and offer any assistance where necessary especially on matters relating to ICT .
The visitors came to Nandi to officially launch the programme which will kick off tomorrow.
The Automated Revenue Management system now makes Nandi county to join the ongoing list of counties that use automated revenue management system like Nairobi, Nakuru, Kisumu, Kiambu Bungoma and Machakos.
