Nandi Governor Stephen Sang has urged students to uphold high moral standards while in institutions of higher learning citing that the greatest concern at the moment is upholding good morals for the youth in universities and colleges.
Speaking at Kapsabet Boys High School during a thanksgiving ceremony marking good results posted in last year’s KCSE exams, Governor Sang, who was the chief guest said majority of students in universities compromise and neglect their good principles by aligning towards bad company, drug abuse and this ultimately forfeits their career life.
The Nandi Governor insinuated that education is a timely boost and will propel the students’ lives, but their character is still the fundamental aspect they need. Kapsabet Boys High School was ranked position eight in the 2017 KCSE exams after posting good results across the board.
