Deputy president William Ruto has called upon the residents of Nandi to vote for the Jubilee government in this year’s general elections. While addressing residents at several rallies across the county where he was mobilizing voters for the voter registration exercise, Deputy President Ruto also requested the residents to register as voters.
The DP who was accompanied by governors and MPs from Nandi and Uasin Gishu said the Jubilee government has done a lot for Kenyans, citing the development projects as an example. Ruto toured the areas of Serem, Kobujoi, Kaptumo, Mugundoi, Nandi hills, Namgoi, Kapsabet, Chepterit, Mosoriot and Kabiyet as he mobilized unregistered voters to register.
The county has 285,000 registered voters. Jubilee leaders led by the President and his Deputy President have been touring different regions in the country mobilizing the public to register during the ongoing voter registration exercise.
