The County government of Nandi has received the second consignment of drugs and medical supplies worth Kshs 60 million from the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA).
Speaking at the Kapsabet Referral Hospital during the reception of the consignment, Nandi Governor Stephen Sang who was with Deputy Governor Dr Yulita Mitei and Health CEC Ruth Koech, said his leadership will ensure there is a continuous supply of medical supplies in every facility across the County.
He said that since he took over as Governor, he has witnessed a tremendous change in the health sector, “My government will continue to work tirelessly to ensure each one gets good healthcare,” he said.
He added that he wants to ensure Nandi Couty sets the benchmark in terms of healthcare, making it a point of reference for other Counties. He revealed that his County government has made steps when it comes to partnerships with other global agencies to ensure the health sector receives a boost.
