After his predicaments in the NASA coalition, Bungoma senator Moses Masika Wetangula has been asked to join Jubilee party so as to forge ahead with his political career.
Speaking after issuing CDF cheques to cater for development projects in his constituency, Webuye west MP Dan Wanyama says Raila Odinga has a history of betraying his closest allies saying it is evident to the late Wamalwa Kijana saying Wetangula could not have escaped the wrath.
“Senator Wetangula knew this very well and turned a deaf ear to it and therefore he should join the winning team of Jubilee so as to be on the safe side as the house is not yet full to welcome new members to ensure the country moves forward” he said
However he asserted that as much as he is welcome he should know that there are people who went there ahead of him and he should not bulldoze to be among the top ranks in the party.
The Mp also cautioned President Uhuru Kenyatta on his relationship with ODM party leader Raila Odinga saying he is known because of his deeds and the handshake should not lead into developing of a political coalition.
Hon Wanyama said the country is not ready for a referendum poll right now as proposed by Raila saying political leaders should focus on delivering development projects as they promised the ordinary wananchi during campaign periods.
The MP also took the opportunity to caution lazy contractors saying he will not tolerate shoddy project delivery saying the management committees should also not engage in corrupt dealings that will derail development activities in the constituency saying he will be vigilant to monitor the progress of the projects.
He also promised to ensure all residents of Webuye west constituency benefit from projects initiated by the fund saying as an elected leader he has to fulfill his mandate.
