150 needy students from across Emgwen constituency have benefited from the Emgwen Educational Fund Initiative, which will help them continue with their education at different levels of learning. Students from primary and secondary schools, higher learning institutions have benefitted from the initiative, which is funded by Emgwen MP Alex Kosgey.
Speaking at Tegat primary in Kapsabet ward during the disbursement of cheques, Kosgey lauded the efforts of the committee tasked with selecting the needy students, “The beneficiaries were selected through a fair process and I’m grateful,” he noted. The MP urged beneficiaries to work hard and fulfil their dreams, and in turn helping other needy members of the society. He said as a leader, he is fulfilled through efforts to uplift the education standards of his constituent, through such programs.
