Police officers in Likuyani Sub County managed to apprehend two men with about Ksh. 24,000 fake Kenyan currency.
Confirming the incident, Likuyani OCPD, Mr. Meshack Kiptum, (left) said the two Lazarus Koech aged 30 years and Patrick Musa, 52, were arrested by keen area residents at Kona Mbaya market while they attempted to deposit in their M-Pesa accounts the fake cash in 1000 denominations.
“Concerned area residents arrested the suspects before handing them over to administration police officers at Mabusi post before they were transferred to Matunda Police Station,” said Kiptum.
He said security officers have launched investigations into the incident, especially
