Boda boda operator hospitalized after attack
Boda boda operators have been blamed for contributing in insecurity in most parts of the country but in other areas the same operators are targeted by thugs almost every day as many of them have been attacked recently.
In turbo a boda boda operator is nursing head and leg injuries after he was attacked by unknown assailants beating him to a point of death.
Ezekiel Kipleting Cheboson a 24 year from Osorongai village within Ng’enyilel ward was attacked by two men who had asked him to drop them at Labuywet primary school only to turn against him.
“When we were almost approaching Labuywet primary school, one of them asked me to stop, as i was engaging the breaks, they hit me with a blunt object on the head forcing me to fall down” said Kipleting.
He added that after he fell down, they went ahead and put the motorbike helmet on his head despite it bleeding extensively.
Ezekiel was forced to spend the whole night beside the road until 6.am when he was discovered by a neighbor who thought he was dead and called his parents
He was rushed to Moi teaching and Referral hospital in Eldoret and he was admitted at intensive care unit
The doctors report indicates that his right frontal horn was ruptured and he urgently needs an operations to replace the broken horn.
The family is now appealing for help from well wishers to help them raise Ksh. 528,153 to enable their son undergo the urgent operation on 31st this month.
