Posta Rangers forward Timothy Otieno has been named the player of the month for February.
Otieno beat a strong field of players that included Wycliffe Ochomo, Obadiah Ndege and Antony Kimani to collect the highest number of votes.

He was awarded by Sports Journalists Association of Kenya (ASJAK) and received Ksh. 100,000 as well an LG television set and a personalized trophy.
Timothy who was recently called up to Harambee Stars, said he is delighted by the recognition and believes it will motivate him to do even better in coming matches.
“This is a big surprise for me and the club and hope it can motivate me to do even better in upcoming matches,” He said.
He becomes the first recipient of the award in 2016. Mathare United coach Francis Kimanzi won the coach of the year award also for the month of February.
