MTRH to offer improved medical services
The Uasin Gishu county government has signed an agreement with Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) in Eldoret in a step aimed at improving the service delivery to patients seeking medical help in that facility.
The contract that was signed early this week, will see services improved in MTRH and the same extended to all dispensaries in all sub counties of Uasin Gishu.
Residents drawn from Uasin Gishu, the neighboring countries and many other patients that visit the facility for different services will now be able to access improved medical services upon the implementation of the deal.

Speaking during the signing of the agreement, the Uasin Gishu County governor Jackson Mandago stated that the drive will help improve service in the hospital that caters for the need of many including patients from many parts of the country.
”This step will go a long way in ensuring all hospitals in our county do have the equipment to facilitate service delivery to the patients,” said governor Mandago challenging residents to make use of the facility.
The manager of Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Wilson Aruasa stated that the hospital will be sending doctors and other medical practitioners to help treat patients and give proper training to health personnel’s in such dispensaries.
This comes as the county government of Uasin Gishu is also planning to construct fire stations in all the six sub counties in the county according to the County Executive in charge of the roads, transport and Infrastructure Eng. Gideon Birir.
