Ang’urai North students get funds to pursue diplomas
Education sector in Ang’urai North ward of Teso North Sub County has gotten a major boost after a total of 55 students benefited from ward fund to pursue their education in tertiary institutions.

The needy students who some had stayed at home for more than five years for luck of school fees to chase their dreams wore a smile of hope and a bright future after receiving 2.5 M to further their education .
Ang’urai Notrh ward Member of County Assembly Maurice Chetambe stated that the 2.5 M ward kitty will help the brave but needy students to pursue diploma courses in business management, ECDE and Engineering courses amongst others.
Chetambe said the event marked the beginning of a bright future to those students, their families and the community at larger.
The legislator challenged them to work hard and shape their future and eventually develop the community in future .
“It is a historical day in my ward, the 2.5 M ward fund is set to benefit 55 students selected on merit to further their studies in Bungoma, it is indeed the beginning of hope in my ward. I implore them to work hard, complete their courses and come to develop the society’’ he said.
