Mr. Mark Kapchanga has been appointed as the new County Director of Communication in the Bungoma County government after the resignation of Miss. Noellah Musundi two months ago.
Mr. Mark Kapchanga was officially unveiled by Governor Kenneth Lusaka during a media breakfast at his Webuye residence Monday.

Kapchanga 33 is a media guru who has previously worked with the Nation media group, the Standard, Global Times Newspaper in Beijing China and Africa In Fact in Johannesburg South Africa.
Miss. Musundi is now the Nairobi City County director of Communication following the sacking of Walter Mong’are, alias Nyambane.
“He is an astute team leader and a professional journalist that’s why I have appointed him so that we can have a vibrant communication department that will re-brand the administration and the county,” said Lusaka.

Kapchanga emerged the young journalist of the year at Nation Media Group in the year 2008 and in 2012 he won the prestigious British Government Chevening Scholarship.
He holds a degree in Commerce accounting option from University of Nairobi, a master in Arts Multimedia Journalism from University of Kent in United Kingdom and also a master of Economics from Kenyatta University.
“Am a team leader and I hope to engage with the press very well so that we re-brand the image of this county, let us focus on positive news rather than negative publicity and am going to be the bridge between the media and executive and be assured that you will be getting exclusive news,” said Kapchanga.
