The SJAK’s Best Player of the Month for May crown has been snatched by Gor Mahia midfielder Khalid Aucho.
Aucho was outstanding in Gor Mahia’s midfield and helped them to register wins over Muhoroni Youth, Western Stima, Mathare United and Sofapaka FC in the month of May.
He also managed to score his first goal of the season and provided an assist in the match against Sofapaka.

However the Ugandan Import becomes the first midfielder to win the award this season after Timothy Otieno a striker, Sharif Mohamed a defender and Wycliffe Ochomo a striker won it in the month of February, March and April respectively.
Aucho beat his teammate Eric Ouma by two votes and became the first player from Gor Mahia to win the award this season.
He will take home 100, 000 a personalized trophy and a 43 Inch smart TV.
The player is also the first foreigner to win the award this season.
Kenya’s sprinter Kwambai dominates the 2016 Lanzhou Marathon
Kenya’s Robert Kwambai asserted men’s title at the 2016 Lanzhou International Marathon, an IAAF Bronze Label Road Race.

Kwambai’s winning time brought him home more than five minutes shy of his personal best of 2:08:18, set when finishing fourth at last year’s Xiamen Marathon.
The former winner of the Linz and Padua Marathons, Kwambai who has run faster than 2:10 every year since his debut in the classic distance in 2012, extended the advantage in the final five kilometres after setting up a sole lead after 37km.
The 31-year-old Workneh Tesfa, the winner of the 2014 Yellow River Estuary International Marathon, who holds a PB of 2:08:51 from the 2015 Marrakech Marathon finished second, with 34 seconds in arrears, which is the first marathon time he has registered in 2016.
Tel Aviv Marathon champion Kenya’s William Yegon, clocked 2:14:37 to take third place.
