The highly rated Green Commandos of Kakamega High School were eliminated from the ongoing Nzoia region secondary school games in Turkana county, after being thrashed 1-0 by region based AGC Lokichar on Thursday.
Green Commandos had earlier on opened their battle against former East Afrian Champions St. Anthony of Kitale losing the fascinating match to 2-1 before drawing the Bungoma based as well as tournament debutantes Bukembe High school to 0-0.
Under the experienced coach Minishi Oliva, the Kakamega based team could not believe their elimination from the tournament with only a single point in the group stages on the basis of high altitude and harsh environment.

St. Anthony drew 1-1 with Bukembe at Lodwar Primary school grounds to get a ticket to the semi finals with 7 points.
In group B, Butula outdid Ebwali by thumping them with a merge of 1 goal to nil before the West Pokot based giants Kapenguria Boys drew Lokitang 0-0. In the second match, Kapenguria clobbered Ebwali of Vihiga county 3-0 at Kanamakwi grounds.
However in the first semi final, Kapenguria pummeled Butula boys 2-0 before Vihiga based Ebwali eliminated Lokitang after they had drew 0-0.
In girls category, former East Africa finalists Arch Bishop Njenga of Kakamega county walloped Uhuru girls of Lodwar 7-0 to qualify to the semi finals.
Tartar girls of West Pokot county whacked Kingandole of Busia county 1-0 at Prisons to qualify to the semi final.
Kenyan champions Wiyeta girls hammered Mudavadi girls of Vihiga 5-0 to qualify to the semi final.
