The Cabinet Secretary for Sports Dr. Hassan Wario has refuted claims by the international countries that Kenyan athletes use banned performance-enhancing drugs, saying Kenya should not be compared to other countries.
Speaking to National Football Kenyan Teams of both Men and Women, Lioness, Shujaa and the Rugby Sevens at Bears Club in Nandihills where the teams are training for Olympics at Rio, Wario said Kenya is a very open country and have nothing to hide urging those laying allegations on doping menace to come and conduct tests.
Wario said the country is a hot belt of talents and champions as last year in Rio Olympics Kenya won a total of 47 Medals and emerged position one in the whole world thus called upon the Teams to focus on Olympics and not let any thing divert them.

The CS said the Anti-Doping menace is not part and parcel of the Kenyan teams, so those in doubt should come and test the teams to prove them right.
Moreover, he warned the teams on any one persuading them on doping to report to the right Authority as Kenya cannot condone the vice.
“Our Athletes have been competing clean.” He stressed.
He applauded the efforts done by the team coaches in ensuring that the teams are well prepared for the Olympics which will kick off next month.
The Three teams have been training In Nandi Hills for the past two weeks and are set to stay there for a period of 24 days before travelling to Rio for Olympic Games which is set to commence on 5th August 2016.
The Rugby Sevens will be leaving the country to Rio on 24th of July this month.
