Amani National Congress Leader Musalia Mudavadi has asked NASA agents to be vigilant during voter tallying exercise.
Speaking after casting his vote at Mululu Primary School in Sabatia Constituency Mudavadi said all agents affiliated to the coalition must make sure the exercise is a success.


“I’m urging all NASA agents to be more vigilant during the crucial voter tallying exercise to avoid any compromising incidents” Mudavadi said.
He called upon the IEBC to extend the voting period for the polling stations across the Country that may have experienced technical hitches.
“The electoral body must be considerate and extend the voting period for those polling stations that may have commenced voting late so that know potential voter is left out” Mudavadi reiterated.
Elsewhere Vihiga Governor Moses Akaranga said the exercise has been conducted well by the electoral body noting that voting was going on smoothly in most of the Polling stations across the County.
Speaking after casting his vote at Munugi Primary School in Sabatia Constituency the area Governor said most of the (IEBC) officials are efficient in executing their work adding that the exercise will end early in some polling stations.
Vihiga Senator George Khaniri said the Ballot papers contains names of very many candidates thus slowing the voting exercise in a few polling stations in the County.
Speaking after casting his vote at Kapsotik Primary School in Hamisi Sub County Khaniri said several polling stations have long queues due to long names of the candidates that are on the Ballot papers.
“Voters are finding it hard to identify their preferred candidates because of the long list of candidates that are on the Ballot papers, that’s why there are long queues in some polling stations” Khaniri said.
