The KDF recruitment exercise which kicked off officially on Monday countrywide has entered its fourth day in Nandi where the exercise is being conducted in Tindiret Sub County and many youths have turned up for the exercise.

The recruitment target set countrywide is 2000 recruits who will be spread among the Kenya Air Force, Kenya Navy and Army.

According to the recruiting officer in charge of team eight which is conducting the recruitment exercise in Nandi Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Aziz Mohamed, the exercise has been smooth since its commencement as no indiscipline case has been encountered.

He asked the public to be vigilant against any form of graft saying the exercise is free, fair and voluntary.

One of the female candidates from Emgwen constituency yesterday, managed to sail through the execise and will be joining the airforce.

While speaking with West Media Limited, Celestine Jepkirui who hails from Chepkumia village in Kapkangani location could not hide her joy after securing a position in the Kenya Defence Forces after previously trying three times.

Tomorrow, the exercise will be conducted in Mosop and the last stop will be in Chesumei constituency.
