The permanent secretary in the ministry of education Dr Belio Kipsang has asked all the secondary schools country wide to embrace digital learning(e-learning) as it makes learning cheap and easy.
Kipsang cited that digital learning should be replicated across the country because it makes learning cost effective.

Speaking at AIC Kamoiywo Girls secondary school in Chesumei constituency Nandi county during the official commissioning of an ICT center, Kipsang lauded the efforts made by the school being among the schools countrywide which has embraced technology.
He said the ICT center will enable schools all over to share what they have and is able to benefit with all the resources and experience whereby the whole idea is to be able to teach from a Three dimension perspective and take very many schools at ago.
The PS cited that jubilee government is playing a major role in the education sector through the project due to the impact of the digital learning thus there is a need to embrace technology to make learning more engaging.
He said teachers should integrate technology into the new curriculum so as to achieve the set objectives of the digital learning to our students.
On matters concerning government text books, Kipsang revealed that by 15th of next month (April 2018) all the schools will have received all the remaining text books thus urged the institutions to be a little bit patient with the government.
He further explained that 60% of resources/teachers recruitment will go to the sub-county and county schools and all the schools to have Two mobile laboratories.
