There is still uncertainty along the West Pokot and Turkana County border after a twenty 28-year-old man was yesterday afternoon allegedly shot by police officers at Lami Nyeusi hot spot area. Lokedurus Losieruku who is nursing serious injuries at Kapenguria County hospital was shot on the road as he was going to charge his phone.
This comes after a convoy of West Pokot Governor John Lonyangapuo, three Members of parliament-Samuel Moroto (Kapenguria), Peter Lochakapong (Sigor) and Mark Lomunokol (Kacheliba)-and the security team from the County was on Monday attacked by people who are suspected to be police officers attached to Kainuk Administration Police station at Lami Nyeusi area along the Kitale-Lodwar Highway.
