The late Joe Kadenge’s body has arrived at Bukhungu stadium for public viewing. The football legend will be laid to rest on Saturday at Hamisi in Vihiga County. On Tuesday, a fundraiser for the funeral was held at Charter Hall in Nairobi, and top leaders including former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi were present and at least Kshs 4.5 million was raised.
The requiem service at Friends International Centre Ngong road in Nairobi was held on Wednesday, where it was revealed that city stadium will be renamed after the late footballer.
