The leader of Majority in the National Assembly Aden Duale has said the whole BBI process has been hijacked. Speaking when he presented his views before the BBI steering committee, Duale said he has presented his grievances to the Jubilee party leader. “And you have seen those rallies….I ask myself how do you collect views of Kenyans in a political rally?” he posed, “And I’ve made it (grievances) even to my party leader, is that your function has been hijacked.”
Duale also called for the implementation of the Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission (TJRC) in order to do away with the lands issue sin the country. “We want TJRC, Kriegler report, and the Ndung’u land report to be implemented. Kenya is defined in the Constitution with it’s people and land,” he said. Several leaders are still presenting their views before the BBI committee at KICC, Nairobi.
