15 more patients have tested positive for the Coronavirus, with the total number of cases in Kenya standing at 296. This is after 545 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. Health CAS Dr Mercy Mwangangi said 5 patients have also recovered, the total number of recoveries now at 74.
11 of the new cases are Kenyans while 4 are foreigners. 7 cases are from Mombasa, 6 from Nairobi and 2 from Mandera and none have any history of recent travel.
So far, 14,704 samples have been tested in Kenya, 2,851 people monitored and 2,121 have been released.
