It’s a relief for Kenyans after the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) announced a reduction in fuel prices. With the ongoing Coronavirus crisis, Kenyans have been hard pressed with jobs on the line, and a strain in the economy. According to the new prices, which will be in force from 15th April to 14th May 2020, Super Petrol has decreased by Kshs 18 per litre, Diesel has decreased by Kshs 4.09 per litre and Kerosene has decreased by Kshs 18.18 per litre. In Nairobi, Super Petrol will now retail at Kshs 92.87 per litre, Diesel will retail at Kshs 97.56 per litre and Kerosene will retail at Kshs 77.28.
In Kakamega, Super Petrol will retail at Kshs 93.72 per litre, Diesel will retail at Kshs 98.55 per litre and Kerosene will retail at Kshs 78.33 per litre. In Eldoret, Super Petrol will retail at Kshs 93.68, Diesel at Kshs 98.50 and Kerosene at Kshs 78.29. In Bungoma, Super Peterol will retail at Kshs 94.95, Diesel will retail at Kshs 99.27 and Kerosene at Kshs 79.04 per litre. In Webuye, Super Petrol will sell at Kshs 94.11, Diesel at Kshs 98.94 and Kerosene will retail, at Kshs 78.71.
In Malaba, Super Petrol will retail at Kshs 94.85, Diesel will retail at Kshs 99.67 and Kerosene will retail at Kshs 79.45. In Kapenguria, Super Petrol will retail at Kshs 94.68, Diesel will retail at Kshs 99.51 and Kerosene will retail at Kshs 79.28. In Kitale, Super Petrol will retail at Kshs 94.05, Diesel will retail at Kshs 98.87 and Kerosene will retail at Kshs 78.64.
