Speaking at the Kapsabet County Referral hospital after visiting a resident who sustained an injury during the protests, Sang said his government together with a team of lawyers assisting the families of the deceased will ensure justice is served. He added that he has pushed different bodies like IPOA, the DCI, and others to conduct thorough investigations.
He lauded the Olessos community at large for providing the evidence which will be helpful in the pursuit of justice and expressed hope that the agreements reached during a top security meeting last week will be met. The Governor also witnessed the autopsy conducted on the three victims’ bodies at Nandi Hills sub county hospital, affirming that they succumbed to bullet injuries.
