A family in Shivikhwa in Malava constituency has come out strongly to deny claims of the supernatural after the roof of their house was blown away by strong winds.
Speaking to West Media at their home, Pastor Charles Ndeda said on Friday evening, before a heavy downpour was witnessed, a strong wind which swirled around for about 10 minutes blew off the roof of their main house, and also caused damage to another house used as a kitchen.
The iron sheets were blown far away and were brought back later by neighbours who live a distance from their home.

The family has also denied claims that evil spirits carried their daughter from their house, before she was struck by lightning.
“We have seen calamities like tsunamis happening every now and then across the world, people should desist from rumour mongering and let us rebuild this house again since it shall be expensive,” said Japheth Asimidi, brother to Pastor Ndeda.
The family is appealing to well wishers to help them rebuild their house since they are currently spending nights in the cold.
