A dormitory at Musingu High School has been razed by fire. The incident comes a few days after Form 4 candidates reported to school. The cause of the fire outbreak is still unknown, and according to police officers, the fire started around 11:00am on Wednesday when students were in class.
The Vihiga County fire brigade reached the school late, when the fire had already Ben contained by residents. Its the third time in two years the dormitory, which is named after Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, has been destroyed by fire.
